Among the various projects I have worked on, this one stands out as a personal favorite. The primary goal was to launch a limited series of children’s clothing merchandise that would realistically showcase pets’ personalities while also appealing to young audiences.
The concept for this design was inspired by a Latvian campaign from 2009, where people collected stamps from convenience stores to acquire animal keyrings characterized by their large heads and small bodies. As a child at the time, I vividly remember the intense excitement I felt upon first encountering those tiny toys. Drawing from that nostalgia, I aimed to recreate a similar sense of charm and desirability in this project.
Color choice played a crucial role in the successful launch of this collection. The serene and optimistic nature of the cat is represented by a soft sky-blue backdrop, while the dog’s energetic and innocent qualities are emphasized with a vibrant yellow background.

To bring the designs to life, I applied a fisheye lens effect to my illustrations of both pets, capturing their distinct personalities in an exaggerated yet endearing way. This approach not only heightened their visual appeal but also made the designs instantly engaging for both children and their parents.
