MY STORY
2015: VISUAL AND GRAPHIC ARTS DEGREE GAINED
Graduated from Jūrmala Art School with a focus on Visual and Graphic Arts, earning recognition for my creativity in competitions such as Best Work in the Caricature Contest “Cat’s Adventures” and Most Creative Artwork in the Latvian Applied Art Competition “Nature Around Us.”
2016: FOUNDATIONS IN DESIGN
Worked as a Media Assistant, where I honed my skills in creating visuals and media content. This role gave me hands-on experience in visual communication, understanding how to craft impactful designs for various audiences.
2019: EXPANDING HORIZONS
Graduated with honors in Technical Direction from Jūrmala State Gymnasium, where I honed my technological and design skills. As an Ambassador of Arts for Jūrmala Council, I contributed to initiatives connecting cultural heritage with modern creativity. Began studying IR at the University of Essex, exploring cultural dynamics and global perspectives.
2022: FREELANCER JOURNEY BEGINS
Freelanced as an illustrator and graphic designer, creating projects focused on sustainability and impactful storytelling. In addition, worked in Public Sector as Project Manager’s Assistant.
2024: CULTURAL ADVOCASY
Graduated from British Academy of Graphic Design as Graphic Designer. Served as a Youth Delegate at the Council of Europe, using graphic design to promote cultural preservation and inclusion. Conducted impactful research on minority youth, expanded cultural initiatives in Latvia and Scotland.
2025: DESIGNING THE FUTURE
In addition to GD work, I work as Communications Expert at Foreign Investors Council in Latvia – I leed impactful visual projects, managing media platforms, and direct a user-focused website redesign. I continue to create sustainable, visually impactful designs that blend cultural heritage with modern aesthetics.
